PADI Divemaster course

What will I learn?

The Divemaster Course is the first rung on the professional ladder. As a competent diver already, you begin to hone your dive skills and theory knowledge in order to support instructors when teaching. You will also be qualified to teach some courses and experiences independently.

  • The role and characteristics of the PADI Divemaster

  • Supervising dive activities and assisting with student divers

  • Scuba diver safety and risk management

  • Divemaster conducted programs and special skills

  • Scuba gear setup and management

  • Mapping an open water site

  • Conducting dive briefings

  • And many more things!

 

Prerequisites

  • 18 years or older

  • Rescue Diver

  • 40 logged dives

  • Medical clearance to dive

  • Proof of CPR and First Aid training within 24 months

How do I start?

Even if you have just started out in diving, perhaps you are 'only' an Open Water Diver...it doesn't matter...we would love to hear from you. 

We can start a Divemaster course at any point throughout the year, and we will ensure that you are exposed to a broad variety of courses, students and experience levels to ensure you leave as a positive, competent and confident PADI Professional.  

Course cost includes materials, the application fee upon completion is paid directly to PADI.
